Mom and Dad

This weekend our parents came down (Coleman Types) to bring us some more stuff to cram into our apartment. Brien made fun of my mom for wanting to drive 2 hours out of the way to go to the Kansas City Market. Well we ended up going on Saturday and now that Brien has been there I am the one making fun of him for wanting to go back.

All this food for under 20 dollars!

After the trip to the market, we moved on to Topeka and had an excellent meal at Little Tokyo a sushi/hibachi grill place. Brien seemed to enjoy eating the meal but found out otherwise at the Best Buy bathroom…moving on now. Then after the Best Buy incident we went to pick up some new pets for our aquarium. We selected Lucy and Ricky (red swordtails), Siegfried and Roy (striped raphael catfish), and Curtis the pleacostomus.

Sunday we went to church and out to eat at Little Apple Brewery (A must for anyone who visits Manhattan). We managed to set up the computer my sister still hasn’t gotten over (Lena AND the Computer!) and got hooked up to the internet.

Today they left to go back to North Dakota and Lena is sad because she won’t be the spoiled little grandchild they make her out to be. She has yet to receive a treat today…maybe that is why she is ignoring us.
